"At the occasional organised sessions in Bern, the specialised repertoires
and virtuoso tempos of the few participating Berner bands increasingly
leave visiting players with the feeling the word 'session' is being devalued.
Such events may be (for the chosen few) modestly profitable, but aren't
conducive to musical growth. With this in mind, an initial (and possibly
roving) session is born. Musicians of all standards and origins are very
welcome. With player approval, this has the potential to become a regular
monthly event. We are open to further venus suggestion from knowledgeable
Berner pub goers."
