FolkWorld Download Archives

FolkWorld is offering a download archive of all FolkWorld issues. We invite you to use this free service to have always your own FolkWorld archives at hand. The zipped FolkWorld issues might contain errors that have been eliminated in the online version!!! We can offer you only zipped versions of the issues. If you are not familiar with zip files and programmes, you can find more information and a free download evaluation version of WinZip at http://www.winzip.com/download.htm. Create a directory */folkworld/ at your computer (you may call it alternatively also e.g. fw). To make most (internal) links work, you have to download all issues and save them in the recommended directories. All downloaded, zipped files need to be stored in the instructed way. Please note that there are regularly photos used from former issues; so if you have not downloaded all issues' photos, these won't appear! From Issue 9 on, you can also choose if you like to download the English version only. Until issue 8 you have to download both the English and the German version at once. The zipped files always create directly the right directory, so you have to save each under your directory */folkworld/! Be sure that your extraction configuration re-creates the former directories!! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE COPYRIGHT remains at FOLKWORLD MAGAZINE!

Wenn Du keine Erfahrung mit Zip-Files und -Programmen hast, kannst Du Dir mehr Infos und eine kostenlose Download-Probeversion von WinZip unter http://www.winzip.com/download.htm beschaffen. Erstelle ein Verzeichnis */folkworld/ auf Deinem Computer (alternativ kann das Verzeichnis auch z.B. fw heissen, um nicht über 8 Zeichen zu kommen). Damit die meisten internen Links funktionieren, musst Du alle Ausgaben herunterladen und in den angegebenen Verzeichnissen speichern. Alle heruntergeladenen ent-zipp-ten Files müssen im richtigen Verzeichnis gespeichert werden. Beachte bitte, daß regelmäßig auf Fotos von älteren Ausgaben zurückgegriffen wird; wenn Du also nicht die Fotos aller Ausgaben heruntergeladen hast, werden einige nicht erscheinen! Ab Ausgabe 9 kannst Du Dir aussuchen, ob Du sowohl die englische als auch die deutsche Version herunterladen möchtest. Bis Ausgabe 8 können nur deutsche und englische Ausgabe auf einmal heruntergeladen werden. Die Zipp-Files erstellen bei der Extrahierung immer direkt das richtige Verzeichnis, deswegen müssen alle Zip-Files unter Deinem Verzeichnis */folkworld/ gespeichert werden! Beachte, daß die Extrahierungs-Konfiguration Deines Zipp-Programmes so eingestellt ist, daß die Verzeichnisse wiederhergestellt werden!! The issues are listed in a way that the newest issue always stands on the top of the list. For the first eight issues, we regret that we cannot offer you the choice to download the English language version only (we have changed the issue structure since issue 9).
